I have been helping the Food Bank since 1992. I started out working at the Food drives and eventually moved into a position on the Board eight years ago. As President of the Food Bank, I enjoy working in a team environment.

I can be described as dedicated, hardworking and helpful. One of my greatest joys is knowing that what we do is helping those that need support. Volunteering with the Food Bank allows me to give back to my community.

I have been volunteering at the Food Bank for close to 30 years starting with helping at the annual food drives. In high school I was the receptionist, taking orders and talking to the people in need. Volunteering is in my DNA since both of my parents volunteered for the Food Bank and were also board members.

Since 2020, I have been a member of the Board of Directors as the Vice-President. I have also continued to be the receptionist and strive to always ensure that both our clients and our volunteers have a positive experience.

I care about our community, and I like being hands on in ensuring that those in need have food.

I have been volunteering at the Food Bank for 29 years and have been on the board in the position of Treasurer for 26 years.

I am passionate about social justice and volunteering with the Food Bank offers me the opportunity to fulfill that passion by giving back to my community in a meaningful way.

For me, volunteering is a calling….one that allows me to help people in need.

I have been volunteering at the Food Bank since 2019. In my role as Secretary, I perform the record keeping, take minutes of all meetings and handle the in-coming mail including tax receipts and thank you letters.

I am a very organized person and strive to always be fair in my dealings. I also like to have fun and volunteering in an organization that provides both fresh and non-perishable food run solely by volunteers brings me great joy.

My Mom & I saw firsthand how people who need food assistance benefited from the Food Bank and that was something I wanted to be a part of.
